REST vs. SOAP: Ops vs. Dev? « Angry Bill:
This guy really makes a good point here, look at what he said:
"Its trying to tunnel through port 80 and sneak past operations aversions to things like CORBA traffic. But is this such a bad thing? As far as this particular aspect of the SOAP vs. REST debate goes, what is the real underlying issue here? What I think it is is a matter of control."
Why everybody so happy to use SOAP? Easy to use over HTTP and the formated language is the benefit. But how to control it already out of the SOAP.
And I also think no matter REST or something else, they will finally sit together for our business purposes.
We'd like to see this kind of fight, but we need to be more focus on combine them together.

This guy tries to provide a basic concept of free and open source license introduction. And he also provides a few easy-to-understand licensing issues which we knew fairly well.
The open source mater always brings trouble to us for such a long time, and nobody can know the details of all open source license. This causes the problem to make open source earning more money from customer, because you scare it and the same as our customer.
The good thing of open source is its open. But don't let the open make us scare. To know it and try it and use it in your products, this is our fate of this generation of developer.
Look at those big companies - IBM/Sun Micro/BEA/Redhat/Oracle and including M$, their eye covetously on this market and they really earned money from open source.
Apache + Eclipse already brought enough power to us, nobody can say no to this question. Building upon open source will be the future of software development. Use it and contribute to it will be the unchangeable trend.

钱钟书他老人家曾经说过：“年轻的时候我们总是把自己的创作冲动当作创作才能。”， 这里我想说的是，年轻的时候我们总是把自己的创业冲动当作了创业才能。当我们这么做的时候，能不能自己扪心自问一下：你准备好了么？
最近跟Siverjet聊过一次，感觉他的想法蛮成熟的。像我们这个年龄的人，已经不是以前的想打就打想摔就摔的时候了，思维的成熟和身上的担子要求我们能够用更为稳当和可行的方式来创业。

风险能够控制
竞争壁垒比较小
有可靠稳定的利润来源
一个快速成长的领域
适当的规模
没了这5点，大家忙半天也就是辛苦钱
Ａｒｉｓｏｎ连辛苦钱都没有，烧的是投资人的钱
你自己折腾过，估计应该有个体会，以前我也折腾过
me: 我的想法也是从小做起，自己对自己的定位要先认识好
不能随着市场变
还有，自己一定要有能够让别人信得过的东西
不管是人还是产品

me: 还有，团队里的人很重要
Ｓｉｌｖｅｒｊｅｔ：尤其是小公司，包括Ａｒｉｓｏｎ在内，一定要让自己的服务或产品具有真正的价值
me: 我以前的教训基本都是在人身上
Ｓｉｌｖｅｒｊｅｔ： 我觉着得先从那5点入手来分析
觉着基金的那个项目并不很稳妥，当然作为一个潜在客户和领域还可以
我现在能看到的就是基金公司的IT服务这个市场
基金公司发展比较快，资本充足，历史包袱小，系统相对简单，基础设施不完善，人力不足
比较接近那5点
Ｓｉｌｖｅｒｊｅｔ： 移动市场是一个方向，手机就是未来的PC
尤其3G发展起来后

还有就是模式，我觉得以前做项目实在太累，我们应该卖服务
